Class Response 1/24/11

I enjoyed the class this past week.  I was a little lost when we were told to go out and find something that nobody else would see.  I wanted to find something unique and something that only I would have seen.  It was a interesting day of class.

One rule that I was always told to follow was the rule of not swimming after eating right away.  My mom always used to make sure I followed this rule.  I really had no feelings to this rule at all.  I figured since it was a safety rule that it was there for a reason.  If I had not followed the rule I would have gotten cramps and probably not felt very well.  I decided to follow the rule because I didn't want to get cramps and feel sick.

Humpty Dumpty

 I really had no idea what I wanted to do with my egg after we were given them in class.  I was more worried with the task of getting the egg home in one piece and not having it break in my truck on the way home.  Once I got home I decided to put the egg in the fridge and think about the assignment a little more. 
   After awhile I decided I would remove the yolk and white from the egg without breaking the shell and then go from there.  I remember doing art projects in school where we painted the eggs after removing the egg.  I decided that I would replicate this for the egg and the eye assignment. 
  

Class Respone 1/10/11

Going into the class I was still unsure what the class was even about.  After learning about the class I'm really excited about the semester.  Between the class discussions and the chair break the class was probably one of the most interesting first class meetings I have been a part of.  I'm looking forward to how the remaining classes can top the first day.

Class expectations

For my class expectations for the seeing sideways class I'm very open to expanding my knowledge of the new media field.  I'm not too sure what the whole class is all about but according to previous students who have taken the class it is a must take class at iupui.  I hope to have that same experience in my semester in seeing sideways.
